Privacy Policy

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to explain the principles under which we process your personal data and to discuss your basic rights related to our processing of your personal data.

Scope and purposes of personal data processing

As part of its activities, personal data is collected and processed:

(a) for purposes resulting from the legitimate interests pursued by the Administrator of personal data: to provide services to customers, to market the Administrator's services, including to inform about new products offered by the Administrator and about its activities (e.g. within the framework of a newsletter), as well as for analytical and statistical purposes and to ensure ICT security related to the Administrator's website (legal basis Article 6(1)(f) RODO);

(b) in order to perform the Administrator's contracts with customers, including the organization of training courses, in order to cooperate with suppliers and other entities cooperating with the Administrator (legal basis of Article 6(1)(b) of the DPA);

(c) for the purpose of recruiting individuals interested in working or cooperating with the Administrator (legal basis, respectively, Article 6(1)(c) and Article 6(1)(a) of the DPA);

We also process personal data in fulfillment of the Administrator's legal obligations (legal basis Article 6(1)(c) RODO).

States of law

The processing of your personal data is carried out on a voluntary basis; however, depending on the circumstances, a refusal to provide data or a request for deletion may prevent us from, for example, contacting you, providing you with information about the Administrator's activities, or performing the service. The processing of personal data in the provision of legal assistance services is regulated in contracts concluded with clients or in the general terms and conditions for the provision of legal services. Sending commercial information electronically, e.g. by e-mail, is subject to your prior consent, including that given by subscribing to a newsletter or by submitting an instruction to receive certain information, including thematic legal alerts. In accordance with the principles set forth in the data protection laws and to the extent provided therein, you have the right to access your personal data, the right to rectify, delete or restrict processing, and the right to data portability. Some of these rights may not apply to the processing of data in the provision of legal assistance. If you do not want the Administrator to process your personal data for marketing purposes, you may object to the processing of your personal data for such purposes at any time.

The right to file a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint related to the processing of personal data by the Administrator to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (until the entry into force of the Law of May 10, 2018 on Personal Data Protection - to the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection).

Processing period

Personal data will be processed, respectively, until the relevant legitimate interests pursued by the data controller related to the processing of certain data are realized, until the expiration of the statute of limitations related to the contract to which the processing of personal data is related or related to the statute of limitations of obligations under the law, until you object to the processing for marketing purposes. We send newsletters and other similar information until you raise an objection in this regard.

Transfer of personal data to other entities

Recipients of your personal data may be, in particular, entities directly or indirectly related to the Administrator, in particular in an organizational or personal way, which would be located in one of the Member States of the European Union, as well as external service providers (e.g. entities providing IT services, including cloud computing services, entities providing call center services and marketing and promotional activities, other entities processing data on behalf of the Administrator on the basis of a personal data processing entrustment agreement).

Your personal data is processed at the Administrator's premises. Personal data are not transferred to countries outside the European Union. In the event that personal data is transferred to third countries outside the EU, the Administrator will use appropriate instruments to ensure the security of your personal data.

The Administrator, in connection with its cooperation with its suppliers and other law firms, may entrust the processing of your personal data to the above-mentioned entities. However, in each case, these entities will be obliged to maintain the confidentiality of your personal data and to process them in accordance with data protection regulations and the relevant instructions of the Administrator.

Profiling

Your personal data will be subject to profiling as one of the forms of automated processing of personal data in accordance with Article 22 (1) and (2) of the RODO in order to prepare the best offer for you.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

Any changes we make to the Privacy Policy in the future will be posted on the Administrator's website, will be effective only for the future, and will take effect upon your acceptance of the modified Privacy Policy, of which you will be notified by a pop-up window. Whenever possible, we kindly ask you to check our website regularly for updates to our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept our Privacy Policy or changes to our Privacy Policy, you should stop using our website.
